This astounding chart illustrates just how rapidly solar power is sweeping America!
Well, maybe that’s a strong adjective, relatively speaking, since the US is a relative laggard compared to the likes of some notable European countries which we won’t name (but one of them rhymes with “Hermany”).
Just think, back in aught six (2006 is when the above chart starts), a mere seven years ago, there was only one measly new solar installation every 80 minutes. Fast forward to today and we’ve got them popping up every four minutes!
